Hi Tuesday Market Friends-

The countdown is on- we have 6 more markets for the 2016 season! Keep us in your plans on Tuesdays and watch the harvests change, the darkness come earlier and conversations turn toward roasting and soup making. Stop by the purple market tent to chat recipes (we're full of ideas!) or ask the vendor you're buying from. 

Its squash time! So many varieties- above are Green and Orange Kabocha Squash from Red Fire Farm.


Beaumont's Berries will have jam at the market this week. Stock up! Botanica Blends will also be with us selling apothecary bitters. Crooked Stick Pops will be joining us too! Paul Sticcia will be serenading us again this week with Americana covers and originals. 

Justamere Tree Farm has a great recipe for Baked Stuffed Apples. Get almost all of the ingredients at market. Consider substituting Full Moon Ghee for the butter. This recipe will have the delightful side-effect of making your home smell amazing!

Mushrooms are popping out! Paul at New England Wild Edibles tells us, "Big cool weather shiitake for grilling are starting to emerge and I am finding a few rare but delicious king boletes that pop up this time of year even in spite of this very dry summer and early fall."
